Solace Poem by Chinonso Uche

Solace

The world is bitter sometime,
No one can say that with smiles.
If you wish to cry sometime,
Make it snappy in a while.

Life does not hava a spare
That's not a thing to fear.
To live freely like the air,
Is how to cope around here

Life is either simple or hard,
It is what you make of it.
If choice is every man's card,
It's never clear to a stupid twit.

Sing for me a beautiful song,
It could lift my spirit.
All my hopes are far gone,
You're now my nascent habit.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
To find 'The One' for me, I went on a search and having searched and searched and searched, and having endured abuses, molestations and hatred, I almost gave up. But I did not, instead, I decided preserve myself for 'The One'. And when it looked as if it's never gonna happen, there came 'The One' in whom I find 'Solace'.
