Soleil Cache Poem by Nicholas Peter

Soleil Cache

My skin shone bright like Ra,
A perfect halogen,
A miniature atomic sun,
Giving off the phoenix complexion,
of greater men.

The appearance is false,
My innards are empty,
Taken away from me,
Devoured with the emotion,
Never to be seen again.

I have been judged,
My heart weighed on the scales of Anubis,
Against the feather,
Who shall win?
None but I know.

I am beset on all sides,
By furious anger,
The battle of Heaven and Hell,
AN angry hurricane of humanity,
Swirling in the black,
Fighting in the deep abyss,
of the body.
