Solitude Poem by Ray Hansell

Solitude

I live my life in solitude
It is self imposed
I like the quiet time
That's why I do it, I suppose

I don't like big crowds
They are too loud for me
Peaceful and quiet
That's how it should be

They say children
Should be seen not heard
The same goes for adults
There are no truer words

So I'll take the peace and quiet
You can have your noise
Go ahead and be loud and rambunctious
In the quiet I keep my poise
