Solitude, I Embrace You Poem by Kamatchi Kaleeswaran

Solitude, I Embrace You

Solitude,
I embrace you.
In your heat
Find shape my abstract thoughts.
The dull pain your slow gnawing inflicts
Is the precious womb that nurtures
my ideas to be born.
Only you have the magic
That takes me to lands unknown
Exploring creation, experiencing the creator…
In your presence I dive deep inside,
And honestly delve in all that I am.
Away from all human contact,
Wrapped in the silence of you
I stew
Waiting to transcend my earthly knowledge,
Awaiting the words, visions, feelings you bring.

I know that there are many who loathe you,
Fight you at every twist and turn,
Impatiently waiting to get rid of you
But I…
Oh, how I love you!
What would the world be without you?
Every creation that speaks to my soul
Is a masterpiece shaped by the touch of you.
Encompass me, I have no fear.
Only the eager to know
the brilliance we would create together.
