Some Faces Says It All Poem by swati kukreti

Some Faces Says It All

They say a picture is worth a thousand words,
It has the power to separate the geek from a nerd,
But somehow I think in the contrary,
For me, some faces remain a mystery.

The possibilities can even take the toll
Still, some faces says it all

Some eyes reflect the deepness of the ocean,
While some haunt you for some strange notion,
Some eyes tell the tale of enduring pain
While some are devoid of moisture even in pouring rain.

Some faces are like the voices echoing in the empty hall
But some faces says it all

Some faces weave the story of their own,
While some are like guest in their home,
Expression elude many when they sigh,
Sometimes tears don't flow when the heart cry,

Those brows can deceive when you might take the call,
But some faces says it all

Angst underlines the gloominess in some
The ditches signal the war that has won
The bleakness in many still survives,
Innocence there seem to be crumpled by lies

Memories of past stare you in the wall
Still, some faces says it all

A face has many fables to tell,
In these rivers many lives dwell,
Myth gets transformed into prayer
For some even heaven is near.

Sometimes you can't tell when the mind is on a prowl
Still, some faces says it all
