Some Fail To Understand

Some fail as yet to understand
Some can’t believe God’s Son
Some question God’s almighty hand
Still blind to all He’s done

They’re rich they’re poor, they’re young they’re old
Some near and some afar
All ignorant to whom they’re sold
To why on earth they are

No two in truth is quite the same
Each woman’s child unique
Content, they play the devil’s game
Too lost the truth to seek

For this they’ll seek for that they’ll search
Though nothing seems to please
Yet by God’s grace and in some church
Its found on bended knees

Whose heart gives praise to Christ as King
Who worship Christ as Lord
Who to His name would glory bring
Will flee God’s vengeful sword

Will flee the grave and coming wrath
Will flee the flames of hell
Will find to life Redemption’s Path
Will find Salvation’s Well

Who in this life make Christ their choice
Who drink The Morning Dew
Who hear The Shepherd’s guiding voice
Receive His birth anew

Who answers now to Jesus’ call
Who at their post remain
Who stand when all about them fall
Will live to live again…
