Some Of The Time Poem by rawden lewis

Some Of The Time

Some of the time
It meant more than I could say
So I'd try to find a way
To wrap it in rime
Some of the time

Some other time
It's not easy to forget
How we'd share a cigarette
Like partners in crime
With fences to climb
Some of the time

Some of the time
You have to stay
To the end of the line
Where there's nothing and nothing to say
Except that some of the time
It seemed to be fine

Some of the time
There is nothing you can do
To change the point of view
Of someone who'd entwine
Their moments with mine
Some of the time

Some other time
It went like a fairy tale
Didn't see how we could fail
Some of the time
