Some People Poem by Paul Adolphus

Some People

Some people chase after money, power and fame
Trying to make for themselves a notorious name
Some are in pursuit of true love
Hoping to find their soul mate
Others devote their lives to Christ
Trying to enter heaven's gate
Some never get tired of chasing
After their dreams
Always building hope and planning
New schemes
Some are content living
A normal and simple life
Having a happy home
With their husband or wife
Some venture to try make
The world a better place
Feeding the hungry, clothe the naked
Trying to put a smile on everyone's face
Some people spend their entire
Lives chasing after happiness
Hoping to find that something
That will fill their emptiness
Others chase after vanity and pleasure
While some value serenity
As a priceless treasure
