Some People Poem by Paula Glynn

Some People

There are some people who will lie to you,
There are some people who will tell you the truth,
There are some people who play games,
There are some people who laugh at your fears,
There are some people who trip you up,
There are some people who Chinese whisper,
There are some people who spread germs,
There are some people who are strange,
There are some people who are quirky with it,
There are some people who are lost,
There are some people who find you,
There are some people who are cowards,
There are some people who are heroes,
There are some people who strike you,
There are some people who hold back,
There are some people who will murder you,
There are some people who will steal from you,
There are some people who leave you stranded,
There are some people who spit and jeer.

It is a hard life,
But some people don't matter,
Remember: you're not one of them,
You can be different to some people,
You can be quirky and unique,
You can say thank you,
You can open doors,
And you can stay true to yourself,
Without tripping yourself up,
Or being used and abused,
Some people never hurting your feelings.
