Someday Poem by Abby Mize

Someday

The chattering sounds
Of icy cold teeth
The white winter snow
Lay frozen beneath

This unbearable chill
Is captivating to the eye
But this unbelievable frost
Is something I despise

But after the freezing cold
Has finally gone away
I love to go outside
And play for the day

The dazzling spring
Has finally begun
I love to feel the heat
Of the hot blistering sun

I love in the summer
When flowers bloom
I love to sit at night
And look up at the moon

The leaves are changing colors
Yellow, red, and gold
The incredibly beautiful scenery is
A memory that I hold

Though all of the seasons are
Special in their own sort of way
They will go and come back
Again someday
