To bring a light into the world

To help us see this through

There will be but a few
This task is assigned too
Help us reveal what is true
Help us reveal what is you

In the light of a new beginning
This time is ending
Begin new and fresh
Feel what it means to have flesh

Not knowing why we are here
Is nothing to fear
Living in this life
Cut the noose with the knife
