it is so hard to let go of someone like you
someone who i thought would be forever true
when we try to hide whats in our hearts
it just makes the two of us grow apart
i dont mean to say that i never loved you at all
i really did, and i tried my best so we both wont fall
i tried so hard to make you feel what i felt
but then lets not pretend that this love was never real
i find it so unfair
for this love has turned into a one sided affair
why is it that i cant see
that you never really loved me
with a heavy heart, i will just say goodbye
you may not see it, but inside i die
letting go is hardest thing to do
because i thought you would be forever true.
