Something Called Life Poem by Erik Gillette

Something Called Life

between him and his home is something called life
it eats at him
causes much strife
and he fall lower each day
and have so much less to say
as the mountains get ever higher
and with a sigh
'i admit defeat'
no longer will this obstacle course stand in his way
'even if i have to pay'
he think its time to cheat
getting back home in a blaze of glory
and talk to everyone with all kinds of stories
for no longer will life stand in his way
