Something Called Love Poem by Ritik Kumar

Something Called Love

I felt it before I knew it
And had some thoughts in my mind.
A feeling of rejoice,
A feeling that chilled my spine.

Her face glistered under the sky
To which I gave up soon.
Her eyes sparkled as stars
In the middle of a waning moon.

Though she stood far
But I could feel her breath.
Something chased her smile
And flew away from my chest.

I don't know when I fell
For the zenith of God.
I had a bite in my mouth
But couldn't gulp it down my throat.

I asked - What is this
Which I can't curb.
My heart replied - Buddy,
It is something called Love!
