Something Different About You Poem by William Jackson

Something Different About You

Rating: 5.0

Something about you,
Something different
about you I cannot
even begin to remotely
understand sends me,
makes my head swim
like no other woman.

I don’t know what it is,
but you’re so surreal
and real at the same time,
and I’ve got you deep
in the soul of me
though you don’t care
and would think
I was crazy if I told you.

But you've got me in a trance,
and I'll never be the same
come what may.

For I wake up in a cold sweat
in the middle of the night
thinking about you.

And I wish you the best
as I go back to restless sleep
and dream of what might have been.

For you’re an ever present fever,
and I’ll never be the same
come what may.

And it’s just as well,
for I’d sacrifice everything
to have you near,
and
I’ve never quite discovered
what it is about you
that completely captivates
my overblown imagination.

For you've got me in a trance,
And I'll never be the same
come what may.

For there’s something about you,
something different about you
that sends me, makes my head swim
like no other woman.

WILLIAM>>>Fine work here...particularly like the nexus stanza alignment... it generates a silken even-flow throughout....Enjoyable Read'''''''''''''''''''''''''''FJR
