Sometimes I want to cry,
but no tears come out
Sometimes I'm very sad
with no hint of a pout
Sometimes I'm happy
without a smile on my face
Sometimes I'm upset
without the slightest trace
of a frown
Sometimes I try to look up
when I'm feeling down
Sometimes I feel bothered,
but there's no one around
Sometimes I want to say something,
but I have nothing to say
Sometimes I wonder
if I'll make it through another day
sometimes.
