Sometimes Poem by Khairul Ahsan

Sometimes

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes, my heart feels heavy
Without much reason or rhyme,
When I wish to sink in a bevy
Of poems, just to pass the time.

Sometimes, my heart does yearn,
To be away from the noisy crowd,
And wait patiently to take its turn,
To fly in the azure sky as a cloud.

Sometimes, thoughts of the past
Sneak a quick peek at my heart,
These wandering thoughts cast
A dark spell, from the pain apart.

Sometimes, a cheerful mind gets
Overcast by gloom and sorrow,
Random thoughts of life's regrets
Render the heart quite narrow.
