Sometimes I See A Great Purple Spot When I Close My Eyes, It Glows Poem by Max McGovern

Sometimes I See A Great Purple Spot When I Close My Eyes, It Glows

Once in wonder,
Stepping I
Found a place
Where I could lie.

Winter wanderings
Winning man
Laid a blanket
Snow and sand.

Leaves and leaves
And no where books
Disenfranchised
Nose and looks.

Barring questions
Celling lies.
Telling futures
Thimble ties.

Déjà vu, the tempted
Rest. Sleeping like
Machine of chest.

A chest that opens
Clicks in place
And waits for sleep
The thought erase.

But every while
When it clicks
It falters fast
And then it slips.

Escaped and lustrous,
White and blue.

White light,
Have you purple too?
