Sometimes Words Are Not Enough Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Sometimes Words Are Not Enough

Rating: 5.0

One moment you are here with me,
In a whisper you are gone,
Those precious words I spoke to you,
Forever linger on,
But sometimes words are not enough,
For death stood in the way,
It was your time to leave this place,
I think of you each day.
Now all I have are memories,
This life is not the same,
If I could see you one more time,
To walk with you again.
One day the time will surely come,
When we will laugh once more,
Wait for me, my Mum, my friend,
Right there, at Heavens door.
