Song Of Silence Poem by Catie Pipkin

Song Of Silence

Darkness brings forth Silence

Both of which are too much to bare

The ear-piercing cries all make sense

Whispers that pierce my soul fill the air

Can't hide from the light when it doesn't exist

All my dark days consist of darkness

Peace sings out in a voice i crave

It swallows me whole

Silence gives me a promise and makes me a slav
