Song Of Songs Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Song Of Songs

Authors: Joyce Hemsley
and John William McGrath III.

Mountains of doubt disappear through the years,
And taking their place is nature's elation.
My dear poet friends, we are happy together,
Older and wiser with our thoughts on Creation.

God of darkness and light doth surely abide
As we sing hymns in harmony at eventide...
A united world shall reign as long as we live
A positive world, releasing the negative.

I was the vulnerable one, in long ago hours,
Until I opened my heart to God of the Flowers
There is love in the seasons, more than you know
And today's Song of Songs will tell you so.

History of the Motherland and nations of old
Dwell deep in the memory, precious as gold.
We must maintain peace for the future duration,
Giving God thanks for His wondrous Creation.
