Sonnet # 149 Seizing The Moment Poem by John A. Hancock

Sonnet # 149 Seizing The Moment

I cherish evenings when full moons shine
Whilst breaths of autumn whispers thru the trees
And stars twinkle hazed by silver sky
Enhance the soft murmmer of rustling leaves
The Goddess smiles warming the air
Indain summer turns Fall's chilly plans awry
Abating thoughts of bleak November as
Crickets still orchestrate their nocturnal sighs
All around is still and peaceful
Surreal like sleep with pleasant dreams
Nature's handy works beams a sultry glow
Whilst shadows touch off this tranquil scene
Caress me oh blissful night Earth mother I thank you so
For Staging September's last hurrah ere October steals the show
