Sonnet: Advice Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Advice

Rating: 5.0

A man anew will soon enter your life!
You got to change your mind and become his
Beloved, better-half and obedient wife;
This is the secret of our earthly bliss.

The many things that we may do when young,
Are best forgotten at the earliest!
A woman must learn to control her tongue;
’Tis better than being the prettiest.

Forget the past and start anew, my dear!
The future has so much to give to you;
Nevertheless, you go ahead sans fear,
And that is how you get your success too.

The past should not hinder the present state,
But help you lead a happy life with mate!
