Sonnet: Enough Is Enough Poem by Dr John Celes

I told you many times but you didn’t heed;
I warned you many times; you weren’t careful;
I did advise you, you cared not indeed;
I’d cautioned you about the things harmful.

Enough is enough, you turn a new leaf!
Life is very short ’fore you deeply sleep;
What is the use of daily taking beef?
Think of the things you do, sometimes so deep.

Health is our wealth; this is the greatest truth!
Never in life have some understood this;
Like the seed you sow, so will be the fruit;
Know this soon man or life may go amiss.

Enough is enough, think of things you do;
Health of body, mind and soul, matter to.
