A quarter century has sped away!
You were the first-born girl of our family;
God blessed our marriage through you so timely;
We parents thank the Lord for your birthday.

Oh, what is life without any children!
Life can be veritable hell to some;
But children make our earthly life, heaven;
God-given number is purely welcome.

But now, 'Tis time for you to build your nest!
And may this happen in God's way and time;
The Maker's plans for you are still the best;
He plans to prosper you, make life sublime.

Surrender child to God and become blest!
By grace of God, let soul be life-time, dressed!
‘Happy Birthday, dear Cathy! '
