Sonnet: Let Fear Not Ever Engulf Your Mind And Heart Poem by Dr John Celes

Let fear not ev'r engulf your mind and heart;
‘Emmanuel' means ‘God's with you' all life;
Just put your trust in Him and do your part;
God's grace protects you from all kinds of strife.

Upon your friend best ev'n, you can't depend;
Beyond a point, you cannot trust your guide;
Your children cause you problems, you can't end;
And close relatives take you for a ride!

Your only friend on earth is loving God;
He made you from so special clay for free;
Because He loves you much, He permits rod;
He wants your soul to be always sin-free.

No foe can cause you harm of any sort;
Unbearable sufferings God will abort.
