Sonnet: Living In Light Poem by Dr John Celes

Increase your praying hours each day,
And talk to God in secrecy;
Pay heed to things God has to say,
Invoke His blessings, clemency.

Examine conscience every night,
And ask God's pardon for your sins;
Promise to stay within His light;
Let grace of God, your soul well cleanse.

To reach heaven's our goal on earth;
We ought to tread the righteous lane;
And this is why we had our birth;
Devils cannot make us insane.

By asking God to help us, we
Will surely reach eternity.
