All joys and sorrows are but states of mind,
And last as long as we are here on earth;
Nothing is everlasting, we all find;
The quest for these is also without worth.
Our earth's stay yet, must be a useful one;
We shalt not shirk, our duties to man, God;
Accountable, we are under the Sun;
Our Judgement fair is given by the Lord.
Just take in Life all things as they come on;
They shan’t affect our minds and hearts for long;
Nothing is permanent since we are born;
Our life on earth will end like every song.
So live today; let morrow come or not;
The purity of soul to keep, we ought.
