Sonnet-Who Is My Foe? Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet-Who Is My Foe?

All ask the question, 'Who's my real foe? '
One who cannot love his neighbor truly;
One who thinks another person is low;
One who cannot forgive others duly.

One who loves his Motherland with half-heart;
One who is dishonest to His Maker;
One who practises corruption in craft;
One who becomes fraudulent a speaker.

One who denies freedom to his brethren;
One who cannot live in peace with others;
One who persecutes his own fellowmen;
One who cheats, maims, kills, ruins his brothers.

For, every Man's a citizen of Earth;
Entitled to God-given Rights by birth.
