Sons And Daughters Poem by Alexandro Johns

Sons And Daughters

Jupiter devoured his children.

The Cid endured the misfortunes of his daughters.

King Lear by mistake gave love to hearts blind.

How much shadow it engenders the ancient cloning.

Fulfilled the task
nobody recalls
founders or alter ego
as if time was
a subtle sand storm
that everything blurs it:
so is Adam who truly suffered
the blow of Cain's jawbone.
-Abel was safe,
he never had any children-.

Made the offering
on the biological altar,
gods, warriors and kings
they are left alone.
