Sorrow/Loss Poem by Jordan Barnett

Sorrow/Loss

Everyday that i hear your voice i melt,
Like an ice cube on a mid' summer's day
Though it's hard to tell you how I felt
Because I can't find the right words to say
I still remember how much fun we had
We laughed and played in the cool summer breeze
But now that you're gone, I'm so very sad
Now everyday i kneel down and pray, ' God please,
Please bring her back to me for she's my breath,
She's my pulse and my soul. Without her I
Can't live nor be free from the grasp of death
Then God took you with him into the sky
I did not realize how much I missed you
I loved you more than i truly knew, that's true.
