Maybe, you will be surprised
To learn that I'm always lonely.
Even when you are beside,
I cannot feel safe and cozy.
Maybe, you will understand
That I'm a free but caged birdie.
I can just sit on your lap,
But that can't make me feel homey.
I don't want to be apart.
I do love you. Though I'm longing
For the high sky, you know that
I can't leave you, dear. Sorry.
