Sorry Poem by Louie Thompson

Sorry

Mistakes are made
everyday of our lives.
But at least I tell you about them,
at least I don't lie.

I said I'm sorry
what more do you want.
I never hide anything from you
I'm always up front.

There's nothing else
I can do or say.
I wish you would
just forgive me someday.

I'm hurting inside
because of what I've done.
I wish the rain would go away
so I can see the bright sun.

I don't know
what else to do.
I've said I'm sorry
and you know that's true.

Please forgive me
and tell me you love me.
One day you'll know how much I love you,
one day I hope you'll see.
