Soul Mates And Kitties Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Soul Mates And Kitties

One of the greatest gifts given by God
Has to be the loving gift of words.
Love your neighbor as yourself,
And I’ll be there should often be heard.

Soul mates are we when words keep bubbling
While barking at the moon.
Happy Birthday amazing Kate, I articulate,
With a cake and some finger food.

My Mr. Fix it stopped by and he left teary eyed,
As he was allergic to our little bit cat.
There was one giant sneeze, Knocking me to my knees,
Thank the Lord for my friends and puddy tat!

Soul mates, sneezes and kitties, only two of them pretty,
When dust gets stuck in your nose.
Please don’t sneeze on your friend, or the day surely ends,
When your friend turns around and goes!
