Soul Searcher Poem by Katheryn Foley

Soul Searcher

I wish I could wash these sinful lips,
and keep them pure for one simple soul,
I wish I could take control of this,
And fill this gaping hole,
Here in my heart,
It tore me apart,
Time spent away from you,
Only apart we grew.

Christmas miracles happen,
Here I sit wrapped in the arms I love,
Never letting go
I'll stay trapped in love with you
