Soul To Keep Poem by LeAnn Roderick

Soul To Keep

Rating: 3.0

Cry me a river, sing me to sleep
If I should wake up lost and confused
Will you still pray my soul to keep
Yea will you pray my soul to keep
I forgot those long forgotten blues
I gave them up to fall in love with you.
But I never forgot those lessons I was taught
No, I never forgot what I was taught
So that never again would you get lost my friend.
No never would you have to sing to me again.
So, go ahead and cry me a river, Sing me to sleep
And when I wake up, will you still be praying my soul to keep

I like this piece a lot! the bluesy lyrical style is awesome. felt like I was reading a little song.
