Soul13 Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Soul13

Life is the soul's most grandest and the most ultimate experience
For it's the soul who existed before the flesh according to my conscience
To experience all the joy, sadness and laughter
To experience all the pleasures this world have to offer
The joy that it gives you is all that matters
To cry when you're brokenhearted and sad
To smile and laugh when you're happy or glad
Of what it feels like to be a Lawyer, Doctor or a Judge
What it feels like to be a Fireman, Sailor or a Cop with a badge
God alone is the author, writer and director
The struggle between evil and good is not a constant factor
Wherever there is good there will always be evil
Haven't we learned from what we've read from books or novel
We feel alive when we feel hurt and in pain
Becoming stronger is what we ultimately gain
In life we experience what its like to be alone or taken
Falling in love all over again even if our hearts get broken
Immorality ends where the righteous stops the blame
For in this life we are all merely playing the game
The ball you shoot might be a miss or might be a goal
For we all behave exactly the way God made our soul
The eternal life that God speaks about in the scripture
Is the truth about our existence of our human nature
To understand the soul is to understand our emotion
Not necessarily our faith, creed or our devotion
Forever is only for those who sincerely believe
For in the end its only experience that we achieve
