Soulmates Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Soulmates

I kneel on my knees
and beg heaven and earth
to get you back
For your death is an injustice
to our precious time together
I still can see you standing
on the other side of the water
laughing and waving at me
I still feel your presence
in my footsteps, my movements,
my thinking and in my being
But where do I have to go now?
for I feel so lost
without your love
I'm willing to walk
from here to everywhere
and cross bridges that connect
between life and death
just to be near you
