South Haven Poem by Rhonda Baker

South Haven

Sweet cool waters of lake Michigan
Where your feet feel the ripples in the sand
Each person you pass wears a smile on their face
As your life slows down to the vacation pace
Lover’s stroll by hand in hand
A child builds a castle in the cold wet sand
Cool and creamy ice cream treat
Life on the lake is truly sweet

You have capture the vacation perfectly, In 1980, We went to the island of Sent Maarten after arriving of Sunday, I felt I had nothing to do there and wanted to return to the USA. On Thursday, I had settled in and by Saturday, I was the one kicking and screaming NOT to go home. Great Job
