Sparks Of Despondence Poem by neha sharma

Sparks Of Despondence

Obstreperous predicaments,

Mayhem and fiasco,

Ballyhoo and fracas all around,

Came he, attired in black,

And came along with him, jinx,

Jocund folk and later macabre,

Mob bound in obfuscation,

As to what happened?

Oh! See there, muttered one,

Bin exploded and deafening silence,

Booby trapped out in open,

Boisterous city bombed,

Bolshie’s machos clad in black,

Came they aggrandizing themselves,

Entity lost, clemency doomed,

Hallowed sites blasted,

Ensconcing themselves.

Homilies and forums held,

Holocaust and hooliganism,

Came they and accomplished fait accompli,

Ghastly sparks and unending fires,

Kleptomaniac hunger,

Looted our vanity, our love,

Loquacious silent, masculine kowtowed,

Hoodlum indicted, entombed in bars,

Ten years down the line,

Circumstances retrograding,

Still sparks flaring,

Still they daring,

That man in black freed.

Nexus created,

Myriad blued beings,

Sordid epitomes arousing more,

Systems scuppering,

Atrocities and morbidness,

Scenario unchanged,

Antagonism inperpetuatity.

Awaken and arise,

Where is the fervor?

Amass oneness and altruism,

Challenge and fight back,

Stop snoozing, stop jazzing up,

Stop shilly-shallying,

Aren’t sated with Satanism?

Sabotage those machos in black,

Muster what you have and mete them.
