Speak Up Poem by Maria Mullin

Speak Up

Rating: 4.0

A smile
A laugh
A single tear
A glance
A stare
A little fear
She thought he knew
She thought he saw
Little did she know if she had just said something
Little did she know he watched her
He smiled
He laughed
He watched her go
Thinking she didn’t know
Thinking she didn’t care
Maybe if they had spoken up
Maybe they wouldn’t be there
Waiting for a sign
Waiting for eachother
Just speak up
Just say a word
They are waiting
They are listening
Don’t let this go waist
Don’t let love wait
