Speak With Caution Traditional Wisdom Poem by Terence George Craddock

Speak With Caution Traditional Wisdom

Rating: 5.0

speak
with caution
traditional

sometimes wise

especially
if waiting
with baited

breath

to launch
word attack
retaliation

words

never spoken
need never
be taken back

wise

speak
with caution
traditional

sometimes wise

wait for the moment
speaking with caution apologize
even if in the right

even if originally in the right

smooth ruffled feathers
calm troubled waters
heal distempered egos

defused blood feud never starts
