I cant count upon my hands
The times you've been here for me
No matter how bad the circumstance
By my side you'd be

How many people go through life
And never know such a friend?
Oh what they have missed out on
What a gift God did send

I thank God every night
Before i prepare for sleep
For a friend such as you
My feelings they run deep

Gifts from God come in different packages
They are not always wrapped with a bow
They come in all shapes and sizes
But when they are with you you'll know
