I’ve seen you in my dreams
I’ve watched you cross my path many a time
I’ve regretted the way I looked at you
I’ve taken the life away from your soul

I’ve been so thoughtless
I’ve been so heartless
I didn’t realize you were standing by my side
I didn’t realize your were helping me find my path

I’ve taken you for granted
I thought you were just there for free
But now I realize
There's a price to pay

I’ve given you my body
My blood and my flesh

I’ve given you my mind
All emotions and vivid dreams

I’ve given you my soul
That burns like a thousand stars for you

I’ve given you my heart
Forever it shall beat to the rhythm of your song

You sing to me in my sleep
You sing me thoughts of hope and joy
But unlike the rest
You mean what you say

I’ve never known someone like you
Someone who loves me too
I’ve never known someone like you
Someone to share my sorrows with.
