Special Tribute

A special celebration a special tribute
For a special love that is not mute
For this love feels each pulse on earth
Never says a bad word or a curse
Love rules her wondrous heart
Like the rarest painting in art
Capturing the one magic smile
Springs leaps forth from winter’s style
Whose gift to the world I celebrate
Pilgrims line up day after day
Wondering? What’s with that modest smile?
Its secrets hidden make it worthwhile
To gaze into eternity and be beguiled
By her gift that gives the most content!
When modesty reveals her intent
Just one light from her campus
Shelters me in her glorious canvas
For I am rich in poverty I offer
This poem the only treasure in my coffer
Freely, freely my only royal thought
I present this emblem of my love knot
Contentment joy cheers my last shot!
