Spider Poem by Della Perry

Spider

Spinning delicate webs of lace
Planning each strand with care
Intercepting the unaware fly
Devouring its very soul
Eating its prey, before
Returning, bloated, to a silky home.

i'm not too good at planning building projects, so i guess i wouldn't be a good aka successful spider. they are 'cool' creatures who may exist long after mankind no longer does. good luck to them. gee, before i read acrostic as the 'form', i actually noticed it was one BUT it took about 3 readings and didn't happen until i was reviewing your effective use of verbs (all with -ing endings!) spiraling to a conclusion. well done. bri :)
