Sponge Bob With A Twist

Arrr! Ready kids..
Who lives in a seaweed shack by the sea?
Captain jack crazy and loony is he,
With sandpit eyes and kelp locks,
Captain jack silly as a fox,
Drank his rum, and walk his plank,
Captain jack smelly and rank,

Captain jack in the seaweed shack!
Captain jack in the seaweed shack!

Who has friends in Davey Jones locker?
Captain jack the ship rocker,
With a wooden leg and scary beard,
Captain jack funny and weird,
Don't cross his steal, and be kind to his pet ill,

Captain jack in the seaweed shack!
Captain jack in the seaweed shack!

    humorous and creative...your title applies very well to your poem; it is indeed a twist to an original...

    arrrrrrrr your poem has lots of twist
    and it makes me laff.
    'Captain jack silly as a fox,
    Drank his rum, and walk his plank,
    Captain jack smelly and rank, '
    Miles away I can smell that rum
    +++++++10 dear friend
    I liked your Twist
    has lots of pun-
    but more of fun.

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
