Spontaneous Combustion Poem by DJD Quick/dd

Spontaneous Combustion

This person I'm seeing
I used to once know
But lately I've been seeing a stranger
A stranger in this broken, lost home

Lately you've been different
And I cannot handle your contrast
You anger is apparent
Your depression comes fast
Your spontaneous combustion is too hot to handle

Still, you are the stranger in my home
I would say we are in love
But that was lost a year ago
Even then, you may have been the stranger in my eyes
Still, your spontaneous combustion is too hot to handle
With this love of mine, lost to unwanted fate
All I can do is cry.
