Spring #2 Poem by Hannah Barham

Spring #2

And spring begins
to show its face
earlier every year.
Single days
of hope and brightness
to rid the winter
of its dark oppression.
Sunlight streams
between bare branches
and strikes the unsuspecting
February ground.
