Spring Cleaning Day
Spring Cleaning Day*
The strain of a deep winter's frost
Has taken it's toll and I've paid the cost
Layers of loam, dust and grime
Have collected and built up over time
Spring now arrives, newness begins
But my windowed soul is still in a spin
Try as I must to chisel away
The soot on my soul for it's spring cleaning day
